DATA AND OPERATIONS ANALYST

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

MAXEX is seeking a full-time Data and Operations Analyst who would be responsible for analyzing residential mortgage data. To be considered, a candidate must have strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to compile, organize and present data using Excel spreadsheets. This person would play an integral part on the transaction management team and help facilitate best execution trades by sensitizing data involved in settlement.

The ideal for candidate should have 0-3 years of work experience with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and looking for a role with tremendous responsibility and the ability to create their own processes within a fast-growing startup.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage data logistics – including data transfers, access to third-party tracking/reporting tools, understanding data structures, business rules, etc

  • Quickly validate mortgage data and provide quality assurance of imported data

  • Map, transpose, and review high volume data sets

  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.

  • Provide continuous improvement efforts, including recommending and facilitating quality improvement efforts

  • Troubleshoot data issues reported from customers and internal team

  • Create process flows and steps to contribute to every transaction settlement

  • Special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Attention to Detail with ability to think-on-your-feet, adapt as situations change and make the best possible decisions with the information at-hand

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Good time management skills, able to juggle numerous tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines while completing work within a timeframe with accuracy and efficiency

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
