MAXEX LLC has an open position for an Inside Sales Manager. The Inside Sales Manager’s responsibilities will include working with and managing leads identified by the Strategic Relationship team and a sales support role to Field Sales. The Inside Sales Manager will direct leads to the appropriate internal sales staff as necessary. The Inside Sales Manager should have the ability to assist with the generation, cultivation and development of seller participant leads for the MAXEX platform. This position requires the ability to demonstrate the value proposition of the MAXEX platform while helping to meet the customer’s Capital Markets and Operational needs. The position requires a service mindset, strong verbal, written communication skills, strong capital markets and operational knowledge and the ability to work with a team.


  • Support of Strategic Relationship team and Field Sales staff

  • Ability to discuss company’s value proposition with external buyers and sellers of the MAXEX exchange platform

  • Ability to understand secondary market mortgage loan trading and related product lines

  • Know features of products as they relate to capital markets

  • Learn and be able to explain and discuss the menu of opportunities that MAXEX provides for customers

  • Ability to overcome technical and business objections of existing customers. Emphasizing MAXEX’s salable features, including the quoting of market rates

  • Provides demonstration of platform for customer training or refer customers to external training resources

  • Establishes and maintains business relationships with customers; works closely with customers to better understand and meet their needs and requirements

  • Learns and promotes new company products and services. Working closely with Product Development team to understand upcoming products and services in order to upsell and create unparalleled customer enthusiasm

  • Prepares daily, monthly and quarterly reports as required by client activities and volume transactions

  • Provides feedback to management and Marketing regarding customer needs and concerns

  • Contributes to the development of sales strategy to meet and exceed sales goals

  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Minimum 2 years of quota driven inside sales experience. B2B sales experience preferred.

  • 5 years Mortgage industry experience.

  • Robust personal knowledge in the areas of credit, compliance, valuation, and underwriting programs and guidelines.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional phone demeanor.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of custodial and servicing transfer.

  • Innovative, proactive, highly motivated and self-directed.

  • Strong working knowledge of loan delivery, loan review, and loan settlement.

  • Ability to focus on goals and develop a work plan that produces desired results.

  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.

  • Results driven and persistent.

  • Strong consultative selling and customer service skills, relationship building skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel skills and Salesforce.

  • Ability to influence: Negotiate favorable results and win-win solutions.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Strong analytical skills.


  • Proven experience in a jumbo, non-QM and agency sales role.

  • Proven track record of success with large volume sales.

  • Sales management experience.
