MAXEX LLC is looking for a Loan Exchange Analyst who enjoys a fast paced, fun and collaborative work environment. The Loan Exchange Analyst will mainly be responsible for a variety of functions related to the credit, compliance, funding and settlement of mortgage loan transactions on the Loan Exchange platform. This may include data validation & entry, the verification of mortgage loan balances, pay histories and other specific loan data. This individual should possess a “whatever it takes to get the job done” mindset. Some additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, review of funding memos and assisting with the gathering of necessary account information and documents from clients.


  • Ability to review flow and bulk loan settlements prior to funding to ensure all deliverables are provided to counter parties per agreed upon timelines. This includes review of Mortgage loan schedule, funding data, settlement memo, purchase advice, commitment letters and reliance letters. Additional deliverables may be required as agreed upon with new counter parties.

  • Ability to assist clients with platform related questions and issues, escalating internally as needed.

  • Support client onboarding including technology set up, credential distribution and platform functionally walk through for unfamiliar users.

  • Perform “cleanup” activities to support mortgage whole loan sale transactions, settlement and servicing transfer including retrieval of required documents, confirm and track shipments, validate data, verify, etc.

  • Assist clients with platform related questions and issues, escalate internally as needed.

  • Flexibility to work late coverage to support lock desk and loan settlements, 10AM-7PM EST, schedule to be determined

  • Other duties may be assigned as required


  • College Degree preferred, or prior work experience equivalent

  • 6 months to 2 years of prior mortgage experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision (self-motivated)
