MAXEX is a rapidly-growing FinTech company that is creating the first viable private-market exchange for buying and selling mortgage securities. We provide lenders and financial institutions with new, more efficient avenues for accessing capital, which in turn creates greater access to homeownership. To date, approximately 100 mortgage lenders and premiere investors have traded more than $5 billion in loans with MAXEX.


The Content Manager will join a growing marketing team tasked with accelerating MAXEX’S brand and sales velocity. The individual selected for this role will report to the company’s Head of Marketing. She/he will have the opportunity to help create the company’s demand generation engine from the ground up.

Responsibilities for the position include:

  • Own MAXEX’s content strategy and ensure timely and high-quality execution

  • Build an end-to-end content engine that generates brand awareness; establishes MAXEX as a thought leader and drives sales

  • Help to build MAXEX’s inbound marketing infrastructure, including implementation and maintenance of the company’s CMS, Marketing Automation and re-targeting platforms

  • Coordinate effective campaign implementation across multiple agencies and internal stakeholders

  • Directly contribute to content creation, including concept, copywriting, editing and production

  • Build and maintain a network of freelance, boutique and agency resources to ensure the most efficient and effective mix of resources

  • Maintain a visible and current content calendar

  • Support the management of MAXEX’s content vendors and partners

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and content approvals

  • Help develop Inbound Marketing KPIs and track ongoing progress toward goals


Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of Experience in B2B technology marketing, in-house or agency 

  • Ability to break complex concepts into clear and concise messaging

  • Ability to write professional-quality copy for multiple content formats, including white papers, eBooks, email, social media, video scripts and web copy

  • Knowledge of various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

  • Understanding of inbound and demand marketing strategies and tactics

  • Top notch organizational skills; Ability to provide clear and concise creative briefs and ensure quality execution by agency partners

  • Active listener with the ability to drive consensus and collaboration between multiple stakeholders. Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction. Keeps commitments.

  • Capable of bringing original ideas and applying ideas outside of B2B/Fintech to the content mix.

  • Understanding of how core marketing platforms function and interoperate with one another

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field


Extra Credit​:

  • Experience in FinTech, mortgage or related industries

  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress and Adobe Creative Cloud as well as common social media management and analytics platforms.
