MAXEX is looking for a Product Manager that has at least 3 or more years’ experience owning the value proposition of a SaaS or software product. An individual that uses their business judgment and technical skills to prioritize development work into a roadmap, so that their customers and stakeholders receive the best possible solution. Someone who makes sure Engineering has a clear understanding of what they should deliver and when. A master coordinator, ensuring releases deliver their intended value, working with engineering, IT, architects, UX designers, users, sales, marketing, implementation, etc.

You must have strong Agile experience, managing priorities, writing user stories, maintaining a backlog and working collaboratively with your scrum team to drive results. You are comfortable working in a high growth environment, juggling multiple demands and effectively driving yourself and your team to consistently and regularly deliver value to users.

To achieve its business goals, MAXEX solutions must be scalable, easy to integrate with and provide a modern user experience. You must have strong capabilities in at least one of the following: building modern, highly scalable platforms; APIs and complex integrations; modern user experience design.

MAXEX provides an exchange for the sale and purchase of mortgages. Therefore, your familiarity with financial services, the Mortgage industry and/or aspects of collateral due diligence and audit, servicing, capital markets and funding and settlement will help you immediately hit the ground running.


  • Act as Product Owner in agile development process, submitting thorough user stories for development. 

  • Obtain approval of user stories by customer and entire Agile team 

  • Negotiate and prioritize workflow 

  • Develop roadmap with internal customer 

  • Lead and participate in project related meetings with internal and external customers, as a leader and/or a resource 

  • Member of Agile team, comprised of Product Managers, Configuration Specialists,  Developers, QA, and Business Owners, with the goal to define, develop, test, and deploy new features and functionality to the MAXEX platform 

  • Work with development in accordance with Agile SDLC to include the authoring of tickets, the management of the backlog and other Agile team roles as needed.   

  • Work with internal customer to prioritize functionality 

  • Understand customer needs, business goals, and the market 

  • Facilitates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 

  • Participates in Smoke Testing 

  • Special projects and other duties as required 

  • Articulate client needs across segment, and translate them into market leading products, features and services. 

  • Maintain industry knowledge and enhance subject matter expertise, identify trends and changes in client and competitor behaviors, and keep abreast of changing regulatory requirements. 

  • Coordinate sales, marketing, product development, implementations and client support with vendor partners and other internal service partners. 

  • Work closely with senior and executive level management. 

  • Follow a cyclical process of financial review, forecasting, idea generation, opportunity sizing, business case preparation, product development, and commercialization. 

  • Build and develop consensus within the organization through frequent interaction with stakeholders including technology, operations, sales, marketing, legal/compliance and Fleet teams. 

  • Deliver training internally to convey an understanding of the products and client usage. 

  • Develop and maintain client-facing collateral and internal documentation to support sales and commercialization processes, including the publication of internal and externally facing release notes.   

  • Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related technical field required. 

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 

  • Problem solving aptitude 

  • Agile software development process experience 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, team player required. 

  • Secondary Marketing experience in the Mortgage industry preferred 

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision 

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without forma authority 

  • Must be adaptable to change
