SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR

MAXEX is a rapidly growing FinTech company that is creating the first viable private-market
exchange for buying and selling residential mortgage loans. We provide lenders and financial
institutions with new, more efficient avenues for accessing capital, which in turn creates greater
access to homeownership. To date, more than 200 mortgage lenders and premiere investors
have traded more than $20 billion in loans with MAXEX.


The Salesforce Administrator will be tasked with managing the scalable implementation and
growth of Salesforce across our organization. The individual selected for this role will report to the
company’s Head of Corporate Technology. She/he will have the opportunity to help build the
vision for MAXEX’s CRM and Service platform while driving its implementation across our Sales
& Marketing, Operations and Counterparty organizations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for MAXEX’s Salesforce environment.

  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, user inquiries,
    modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields
    and other routine tasks.

  • Maintain security user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings etc. (User
    Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security).

  • Configure Salesforce and related applications - such as Pardot and third-party App Exchange applications - to ensure seamless data flow and integrations.

  • Train and assist new users and grow the Salesforce skillset across our organization.

  • Ensure consistency of CRM usage conventions, compliance with best practices, and
    integrity of data.

  • Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system and implement these
    changes as appropriate. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and execute.

  • Document customizations in order to maintain system scalability.

  • Provide development team with requirements, expertise, and testing of custom
    Saleforce.com features and apps.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Salesforce.com, including 3+ as an
    administrator

  • Experienced with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certification a strong plus.

  • Able to understand various requirements across multiple departments and how these
    requirements drive the business.

  • Ability to manage our internal clients, set priorities and execute to a specified outcome.

  • Ability to configure, support, maintain and improve data within Salesforce.

  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.

  • Experience in a B2B product & services company is a plus. Preferably in FinTech, mortgage
    or related industries.

  • Strong functional and technical documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction.

  • Ability to prioritize and keep commitments and meet deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and best practices.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels within the
    organization.
