MAXEX LLC is looking for a Senior Associate who will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, President & Chief Operating Officer. The Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the executive management team by leading key capital raising, sales, and product development initiatives among other strategic projects. The position requires a service mindset, excellent quantitative and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with a team. A self-starter attitude is vital.

  • Coordinate with the CEO, President and COO to lead and manage key strategic projects and various capital raising, sales, and product development initiatives.

  • Capital Raising: Work with members of the leadership team to draft sales and marketing materials and investor pitch books, draft capital raising and sales presentations, and assist with financial modeling, industry research, and data analysis.

  • Financial Modeling: Serve as custodian and owner of the company comprehensive financial model including continual updates.  Prepare and present data models and analyses on key macro and micro business considerations for executive management, investors, and other company stakeholders.

  • Capital Structure: Have a full understanding of the capital structure, own return modeling to various equity owners, and be fluent in discussing the intricacies of the company’s capital structure.

  • Investor Relations: Draft formal responses to inquiries from investors, administer the investor management software, and perform other investor related duties as required and clients.

  • Reporting: Work with business areas to design and create reports to monitor and measure key sales and operational activities, identify emerging trends, and recommend business strategies.

  • Presentations: Produce beautiful, compelling presentations that clearly communicate a compelling story supported by data and insight gleaned from the company’s own data sources and market data

  • Support product, sales, leadership, and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company and market data.

  • Develop custom models to evaluate business scenarios.

  • Research competitive and industry wide trends.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent writing, financial modeling, and analytical skills including mastery of Excel

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships across teams

  • Proficient with technology systems

  • Bachelor’s Degree


  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or mathematics OR experience working in investment banking, private equity, or consulting

  • Experience engaging with senior and C-suite executives

  • Subject matter expertise in primary and secondary mortgage market

  • Working knowledge of mortgage and mortgage industry terminology

  • CFA and/or MBA
