The Senior Systems Administrator will provide support across not only our hardware and software systems, but also our network and cloud-based environment.   • User Management, File, Print, Terminal server, DHCP, DNS, IIS, Antivirus, Backups, WSUS, WDS

  • Active Directory management (account creation/deletion, group memberships, GPO, etc.)

  • Follow and implement Compliance and Security Best Practices

  • Manage desktop and laptop deployments

  • Install, upgrade, and support Microsoft and third-party enterprise software

  • Promote and implement computer and network security best practices 

  • Provide tier 1 and 2 support to local and remote end-users including but not limited to:
    o    Windows and Mac systems
    o    Office productivity applications
    o    Office 365 – Exchange, SharePoint, etc.
    o    Printers, scanners, fax, copier
    o    VOIP Phone system
    o    Smartphones support (Android, iOS)
    o    Provide VIP support for senior executives.

  • Management and testing of Windows updates using WSUS

  • Create and maintains accurate documentation of supported systems

  • Interface with 3rd party vendors (phone systems, internet service providers, software vendors, etc.)

  • Assist with procurement of assets, software licenses, and warranties

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks (Backups, patching, etc.)

  • Responsible for maintaining Asset Tracking System

  • Implement corporate compliance requirements for workstations and servers

  • Provide production support as required


  • 3+ years’ experience supporting Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 Windows 7, 8, 10

  • 3+ years’ experience with Active Directory administration

  • 3+ years’ experience with PC OS deployment solutions

  • Experience in a Technical or Helpdesk Support role

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting

  • Basic networking skills (Routers, Switches, VPN’s, Wireless Access)

  • Familiar with network and computer security concepts and best practices
