Overview:
MAXEX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer to lead our technology and product development teams. The ideal candidate should have an extensive background in product design, marketing, engineering, development operations, and security, with a particular focus on single-family mortgage origination, loan acquisition, secondary mortgage market transactions, and servicing. This role requires a leader to possess a strong engineering and product development background, be an expert in developing software using AWS’s extensive suite of products and services, and capable of aligning technology initiatives with our company’s strategic goals to drive innovation and efficiency.
Top Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Engineering, Product, Development Operations, and Security teams, establishing clear goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to inform product design, manufacturing, and marketing strategies.
- Manage the product roadmap, incorporating customer feedback and market research to guide development.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment between technology, product strategies, and organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams, business leaders, customers, and operational teams.
- Formulate and execute product and technology strategies that support company goals and operational needs.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage budgets for technology and product development departments, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Uphold data privacy and security standards, implementing best practices in data management and administration.
- Develop and enforce technology and product policies, protocols, and standards.
- Negotiate contracts with technology vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends to drive innovation.
- Communicate effectively with executive and management teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency.

Education and Experience:

- Over 10 years of experience in technology management, focusing on single-family mortgage origination, secondary market transactions, and servicing.
- Extensive leadership experience, encompassing product management, technology strategy, and development.
- Solid background in engineering, product development, and security.
- Proficiency in Go, .NET, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Deep knowledge of Amazon’s product catalog.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
